Our first priority is that our puppies live full and happy lives. We try our best to place puppies only in the most loving and responsible homes; our application form assists us in this process.

Our puppies are classified in two categories, companion and show potential. The price is dependent on the litter.
Regardless of companion or show potential our health warranty is the same for all of our puppies.

Companion puppies are those puppies that have cosmetic flaws. These flaws should in now way affect the puppy’s quality of life. Puppies placed as companions, are placed with AKC limited registration and will be spayed or neutered. This type of registration only limits the puppy from conformation events and breeding. We strongly encourage obedience training and participation in AKC obedience and rally activities. Mastiffs are a working breed and are happiest when they have a “job” to do with or for their owners.

Show potential puppies are the picks in the litter. These puppies are sold on an AKC full registration and will be co-owned with Van D Mastiffs until the requirements within our contract are met. These requirements include but are not limited to the completion of their AKC Championship and the completion of all health testing. No breeder can guarantee that a puppy sold as show potential puppy will mature into exactly that. No breeder should make claims that every puppy in the litter is show potential puppy. We carefully evaluate our puppies and only the best are placed as show potential puppies. Our first priority is to get our puppies into good loving homes. We do not object to selling a show potential puppy to a companion home especially if that home is the best place for that puppy.

We require a $500 deposit to hold a puppy. Acceptance of a deposit is not necessarily a guarantee that a puppy will be available. Availability will be dependent upon final approval of home, color, sex, and number of puppies in the litter, and your position on the waiting list. If a suitable puppy is unavailable, the deposit will be fully refunded.

We prefer to not fly our puppies but we are happy to work with you to figure out the best way to get you your puppy. We are happy to drive to meet you. There will be an additional charge for this to cover the cost of a crate and part of our travel costs. These additional costs would not be more that what would be paid if the puppy was flown to you.
